When the sun sets over tune-yards,
and you can’t find your way home.
"More and more, I feel like I'm doing a really bad impersonation of myself."
Had a little Los Angeles party last night. Eugene is pretty and Eugene is fun and Eugene is college and Eugene is home for now. But I see Los Angeles. And sometimes I want to go back. It’s where I want to be. It’s just that place. Alas, eighteen days more.
I’m not fading into the shadows, if that’s what you’re asking. I’m not going anywhere. We’re not going anywhere. It’s not like when the Bulls beat the Pistons and they disappeared forever. I’m not going for that shit. Come hell or high water, we’re going to be there again.

The Tallest Man on Earth is one of the best artists of our generation. This is his new song, off of his record that comes out on June 12th.
“Drive from sun to sun. Agree on beautiful sunrise. Dream with eyes wide open. Believe in the magic. Call it process.”

Favorite president of anything ever.
Feeling odd. Kind of want to hide in a book store and read for like three and a half months while the world waits for me to come back.

some say life starts at the first breath in a bright hospital room. the moment our curious eyes begin to make sense of the chaotic confusion we’re dropped into. we say life starts when pen hits paper. bringing words to life; the burden that consumes the dark crevasses of each writer’s mind. our confusing, internal contradiction of nightmare and passion. the monster we tame with pens as swords and metaphors as shields. we carefully craft inkblots to trick- le into meaning. these beautiful conjugations of ideas are strangely preserved on paper. to some, they’re just words. to us, they define the future. words are beautiful. they can be passed along from generations or crumpled and thrown into a corner wastebasket. they can even change the world, with the right amount of care. We are storytellers. words are what we use to tell our story. every human beinG is a storyteller because everyone has a story to tell. maybe you didn’t read this because there were too many words. but if you did give these words a chance to live, thank you. because it’s not just about the words, it’s about the story.
